Hello there! I'm thrilled that you've taken the time to view my pages and get to know me better. I'm known as Mic, an artist hailing from Rockford, IL. Making a positive impact on people's lives is my ultimate passion, and witnessing smiles on their faces and the feeling of empowerment they experience fills me with immense joy. Helping others discover their inner and outer beauty is the most rewarding aspect of my journey. This selfless approach was instilled in me from a young age, putting others first has always been my guiding principle. By the way, here's a fun fact – I stand tall at an impressive 6 feet 8 inches!

Throughout the years, I've encountered daunting battles with depression, anxiety, and alcoholism. Nevertheless, I am filled with pride as I can now confidently declare that I've maintained sobriety for over a decade. Photography has become my therapeutic sanctuary, enabling me to connect with others who might be enduring similar struggles. In my work, there lies a profound and somber essence that strikes a chord with those who have confronted their own inner demons. Guided by a resolute vision and sense of purpose, I succeed in keeping those demons at bay, allowing me to forge powerful and meaningful pieces of art.

Why nudity? - Because it’s raw.

Thank you for all the wonderful questions about my artistic process! For those who have been wondering about the nudity in my work, I'd like to shed some light on the subject. My models bravely bare it all, and it can be initially nerve-wracking. Once we move past the initial jitters, it can be incredibly freeing and empowering. It fosters a great level of trust between us. My goal is to promote body positivity and showcase the beauty of every individual in their own skin.

I am so grateful for every person I work with. They are truly incredible individuals with unique stories and perspectives. Even though the final images may appear dark, we always have a great time creating and sharing many laughs. Of course, my ultimate goal is to make sure that they are always comfortable and feel good about their experience working with me.
